Question: My project came out backwards. Is there a way to fix it?

Answer: Because you are most likely going to be transferring this onto a garment, you will need to MIRROR your image. This is one thing a lot of people forget to do especially in the beginning. Unfortunately, there isn’t anything you can do with that vinyl if you forget. We recommend putting a note by your work station to remind you to mirror your image. This will insure your design faces the correct way on your garment.

Question: Do I need a fancy machine to cut your vinyl?

Answer: Most people have some type of commercial die-cut machine to aid them in the cutting of their vinyl, such as a Silhouette or Cricut. These machines can be helpful but are not necessary. There are a variety of different scrapbooking tools available to help cut vinyl, but if those aren’t an option, a good old-fashioned pair of scissors will do the trick as well. Don’t let not having a machine stop you from creating a masterpiece!

Question: If I have a machine, what should I set the settings should I cut my vinyl?

Answer: Each type of heat transfer vinyl requires a different cut setting. Luckily, we’ve compiled a list of settings for just for you. You can find all of our cut settings here. These settings are really important in helping your project come out properly. If you have correct cut settings it will weed smoothly, and your design is destined to turn out great.
